A foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds
to be great is to be misunderstood oh man
have your rights thought who cares what they think
consistent, misunderstood, and honor pride
 you don't have to be famous but at least prove some you are

Yes there is some things that inspire to think and act different.  In the beginning of the article when Emerson said about if you don't express your idea someone else will express it for you and get credit and you wont even if you thought about it first.  Be first to say it even if its wrong or right or even it become a jackpot.

acting and being good  
Nothing is at last sacred but the integrity of your own mind  
I ought to go upright and vital, and speak the rude truth in all ways. If malice and vanity wear the coat of philanthropy, shall that pass
virtues-behavior of high level standards 
more people start to do more bad things than good 
hard thing is being true to yourself 
looking other peoples time than yourself is a waste of time
they're are afraid - For nonconformity the world whips you with its displeasure.

Trust in yourself because if you don't give your full expression you wont know your worth of trust 

trust in your self every hearts vibrates to that iron string - faith which a person places himself in 

First Impression: Self-Reliance

Our acts our angels are, or good or ill 
actions speak louder than words 

To believe your own thought, to believe that what is true for you in your private heart is true for all men, — that is genius
belief in our-self is genius 



My first impression of self-reliance is that everyone is programmed to a system that we have our own beliefs and ascribe to express it.  If we don't start talking what we know someone else will steal that idea by doing it and is going to take credit.
